Here is how to add the Avalanche C-Chain RPC to your Metamask wallet in 5 simple steps
Step 1. Log into your Metamask wallet and click on the menu button (three lines in the top left of your screen on mobile).
Step 2. Go to Settings
Step 3. Click on Networks
Step 4. Now click on the ‘Add Network’ button on the bottom
Step 5. Fill in the following information:
- Network Name: Avalanche Network
- New RPC URL: https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc
- Chain ID: 43114
- Currency Symbol: AVAX
- (Optional) – Block Explorer URL:https://snowtrace.io/
Now click on Add
Congratulations! You now have AVAX on your MetaMask wallet and can start using Avalanche with MetaMask.
*Note that You will need AVAX in your wallet to pay for transaction fees. AVAX can be purchased and transferred from top exchanges such as Coinbase, Binance, Huobi, and KuCoin. 0.1 AVAX is sufficient for several transactions in Avalanche Network
